Twenty kilometers east of Singaraja town, there is village below Galungan hill.

Sekumpul village is 500-700 above sea level. It is about 21 kilometers away from Singaraja town. The total population in this village is 1415 people most of whom have profession as farmers, especially clove farmers.

When trekking we walk through nature until we reach the place where we descend to the 7 beautiful waterfalls of Sekumpul. On the way you can see many kinds of interesting plants and trees (clove, vanilla, cocoa, snake fruit, durian, papaya, banana trees and a lot more).

If you are lucky you can even see monkeys in the trees near to the waterfalls. Down at the feet of the waterfall you can swim in the clean and cool water to refresh your body.

I promise you will have a great time and you will take home some unforgettable images and experiences.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic day trip to the Aling Aling waterfalls, taking a beautiful scenic route through the rice terraces and local farms. The rice growing process was explained and all along the way we were talking and learning new things. We loved the waterfalls so so much!! Absolutely beautiful! We have some lovely photos and the ride on the bike was fun too. This hike is not for the faint hearted! Very good exercise and a great tour all round. Would not have been the same without komang's great charisma and expert knowledge. He is so lucky to call this place home Highly recommend!
